Cuisinous is free to download and use for both customers and sellers. There are no subscription fees to sign up as a customer or seller. Cuisinous only makes money from cooks, and only when a sale is made.
No. Cuisinous is a technology platform that facilitates the connection between cooks and customers. Meals are prepared by people looking to generate income from their own kitchens.
We invest heavily in marketing and growth by collaborating with specialized agencies, influencers, and industry experts to promote the platform and attract customers. All marketing efforts directly benefit our sellers by increasing their visibility and attracting local customers to their profiles.
Cuisinous was created to make homemade food accessible and meaningful again. Unlike delivery platforms, Cuisinous:

With Cuisinous, if you know how to cook, you don't need to work in a restaurant to sell your food.
Anyone who:
• Loves to cook and meets the applicable food safety requirements in Quebec, including those of MAPAQ, and holds the necessary authorizations when required.

• You don't need to be a professional chef or own a restaurant.

• Restaurants can also join the platform, but Cuisinous was primarily designed to support and empower individual cooks and local culinary talents.
No. Cuisinous does not require sellers to upload identity or qualification documents. We trust sellers to confirm their eligibility during the registration process. Your personal information and identity remain secure and confidential.
Simply register on the app, follow the onboarding steps, create your profile, and add your dishes. (Follow the steps in the video.)
No. You choose when and what to cook. You can update your menu daily or offer just one dish whenever it suits you.
Delivery options depend on the seller. Some sellers may offer pickup only, while others may arrange delivery independently.
No. Cuisinous does not cook, prepare, store, or deliver food. All meals are prepared by independent sellers in their own kitchens.
Cuisinous uses geolocation (GPS) technology to show food sellers located near customers, making it easy to discover homemade meals in their neighborhood.

Sellers can offer:

Menus can be changed daily, even if it's just one dish.
Yes. Sellers have complete flexibility:
• Sell occasionally or daily
• Offer a single dish or multiple dishes
• Pause or resume at any time
• Update their availability and menus whenever they want
Payments are made securely on Cuisinous through a third party, Stripe. Sellers receive their earnings after Cuisinous's commission is applied.
Earnings depend on:
• The number of orders
• The prices set
• The frequency of sales
Cuisinous gives home cooks the opportunity to generate income without working in a restaurant. Cuisinous takes a 15% commission per transaction. This commission only applies when a seller makes a sale. If you don't sell anything, you pay nothing.
Sellers must clearly indicate ingredients and potential allergens. Customers are responsible for checking this information before placing an order.
