Our Story

How Cuisinous Was Born from Home Cooking

Cuisinous was born from a shared love of food, travel, and human connection.

Adem and Hannah are brother and sister. Adem is an engineer, a big dreamer, and has always been passionate about cooking. Hannah comes from the world of finance; she is driven by a deep passion for cooking and an insatiable curiosity for other cultures. Before building Cuisinous, we lived in different countries and traveled often, always guided by the same instinct: no matter where we were, we wanted to taste local cuisine—not just in restaurants, but directly in people's homes.

Over time, we noticed a constant: restaurant food can be excellent, but home-cooked dishes have a little "something" extra, an invisible ingredient. Meals prepared in a family kitchen are richer in stories, warmth, and intention. They reflect culture, traditions, and care in a way that no menu can ever match.

Take Adam: he loves to eat, but he doesn't cook. Like many people, he relied heavily on restaurants, until rising prices made this habit unrealistic on a daily basis. One day, a neighbor offered him a homemade pasta dish. It was simple, generous, and unforgettable. In talking with her, it became clear that her cooking would be a huge success if it were shared, but she had no idea where to start, where to sell her dishes, or how to reach people outside her circle of friends.

The Origin of Cuisinous
Memorable Moment in Japan

This moment stayed with us.

Another memorable experience took place during a trip to Japan, where Adam was welcomed into a family. Watching them prepare the meal together, in the calm of a warm kitchen, the contrast became striking. The food wasn't just delicious; it seemed alive. The difference between a restaurant dish and a meal prepared with love at home was undeniable.

That's where Cuisinous truly took shape.

We envisioned a platform for those who love discovering new flavors and experiencing authentic culinary experiences, right here in their neighborhood. A place where cooking enthusiasts can share their dishes, preserve their culinary heritage, and generate additional income without having to open a restaurant. And a place where customers can enjoy affordable homemade meals that taste like comfort.
